Role: Technical Writer
Duration: 2 to 4 months
Client Location: Costa Mesa, CA
It will be on-site 5 days a week and there is a chance it can be hybrid later in the contract.
Job Description
QMS experience is a MUST
- Experience supporting an organization through an ERP transition (e.g., migrating from NetSuite to Oracle), including documenting new processes, workflows, and transactional steps.
- Background in QMS documentation updates, ideally within defense or aerospace environments.
- Ability to assess documentation maturity, identify gaps, and transform loosely written content into clear, detailed, and standardized documentation.
- Strong collaboration skills with QSE and SMEs across sourcing, manufacturing, and deployment operations.
- Proficiency with documentation and collaboration tools: SharePoint, Box, Quip, Confluence.
- Strong skills in redlining, version control, and managing revision cycles—especially for audit preparation.
- Excellent active listening, communication clarity, and ability to navigate ambiguity with urgency and precision.
