Senior AI Engineer
Location: Raleigh, NC (Hybrid – 3 days onsite per week)
Duration: 6–12 Month Contract
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement AI-powered interfaces, workflows, and orchestration logic
- Build and integrate AI agents that interact with internal and external systems
- Develop scalable solutions using LLMs and RAG-based architectures
- Implement observability, evaluation, and reliability mechanisms for AI systems
- Collaborate with product, platform, and engineering teams to deliver production-ready solutions
- Contribute to improving development velocity using AI tools and automation
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 5 years of software engineering experience
- Hands-on experience working with LLMs, AI tools, or GenAI-based systems
- Strong proficiency in:
- JavaScript / TypeScript
- Frontend: Angular or React
- Backend: C# or Java (preferred)
- Experience with API integrations and backend service development
- Understanding of AI workflows, prompt engineering, and LLM interactions
- Experience with testing, monitoring, and production systems
