Position: Statistical Research Analyst/Data Reporting Analytics -Open Position-CA

Job Summary:
- Serve as the primary analytical support for research projects including creation of analytic datasets, data tables, and statistical reports for research studies (primarily infectious disease) via SAS programming
- Managed all aspects of data extraction and manipulation across various data domains including laboratory, diagnosis, utilization, and mortality
- Develop SAS programs to query large databases using key terms, International Classification Disease (ICD-9/-10) codes, LOINC and laboratory codes via arrays and macros.
- Create SAS programs for data quality assurance activities such as identifying duplicates, missing key fields, outliers, and data inconsistencies.
- Create automated cohort identification and recruitment programs based on study protocols or outlined specifications
- Collaborate with internal and external partners and funders, e.g., principal investigators, research centers, CDC. Present and interpret results, describe data systems, and respond to questions regarding methods and variable definitions
