Job Description
We are seeking a Copier Service Technician to join our team! You are an important customer-facing partner to our customers and will provide excellent technical and professional service to keep their office technology running smoothly. This role will cover eastern Iowa service calls, with the ideal candidate located in Davenport, Iowa City or surrounding area.
As a Service Technician you will also be provided a company car and company cell phone. Infomax rewards top performers with an outstanding compensation package, which includes incentive-based performance bonuses and the potential for an annual Presidents Club trip.
Infomax sells and services primarily Canon, Kyocera, and Lexmark Products, for business and production printing use. We also sell and service Graphic printing equipment from a variety of manufactures such as Duplo, Challenge, MBM & Riso. Infomax also sells after-market support and supplies for these products.

Responsibilities:
- Communicate with customers to identify issues and other areas of concern
- Travel to customer locations to provide timely trouble-shooting and resolution, which could include basic networking, such as loading drivers, updated IP addresses, and scanning/document management
- Properly service and maintain equipment to manufacturers’ specifications with to meet and exceed customers’ expectations
- Accurately document results and essential information related to service call
- Stock and maintain optimal parts inventory on-hand for efficient performance
- Associate degree in electronic/mechanical field or equivalent work experience
- Above average computer skills, including website navigation, review of technical publications, data entry, and Microsoft Office
- Experience working with copiers and/or networks preferred
- Friendly, courteous, and positive attitude
- Customer-centric listener who provides excellent service and can de-escalate issues
- Problem-solving mindset with critical thinking skills
- Well organized, detail-oriented, and accurate
- Self-motivated to drive results with minimal in-person supervision
- Willing and able to learn new technology and products
