Key Responsibilities
- Create verification cases, procedures, and result documentation compliant with DO-254 DAL-A certification standards.
- Perform FPGA verification through methods such as inspection, analysis, and testing.
- Design and implement hardware-level tests for FPGA systems.
- Execute FPGA integration and testing on target hardware within an on-site lab environment.
- Take part in peer reviews across different stages of the product lifecycle.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional engineering teams and program management, ensuring clear communication throughout.
Basic Qualifications
- Availability to work on-site in Cedar Rapids, IA, 3–5 days per week.
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field with at least 5 years of relevant experience, or a Master’s/advanced degree with 3 years of experience.
- Hands-on experience with lab test equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and multimeters.
- Proficiency in Linux/Unix environments along with programming or scripting in C/C , Python, Visual Basic, or Perl.
- Working knowledge of VHDL.
- Understanding of version control systems and tools (e.g., Subversion, Jira).
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in diverse engineering teams under tight timelines and frequent deliverables.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with DO-254 design assurance processes in FPGA development.
- Familiarity with SystemVerilog and UVM methodologies.
- Knowledge of UVM-based constrained random verification techniques.
