Job Position : NJTransit IT/ Communications Controls Engineer

Job Location : Newark, NJ

Job Duration : 6 Months

Job Description :

• Maintainsystems of electrical and automated controls for machines, processes,sub-stations and railroad control center.
• Note - Fully Onsite on the field (no exceptions). Local candidates preferred. Non-Local candidates must commit to relocation from Day 1.

Required / Desired Skills

• Experience in design, development, programming, and field commissioning experience. Required 5 Years
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical documents including P&IDs, sequence of operations, technical specifications, etc. Required 5 Years
• Experience with industrial communications protocol, such as Modbus RTU, Modbus TCP, DNP3.0, Ethernet/IP, serial comms (RS-485, RS-232 and CAN) and A Required 5 Years
• PLC Ladder Logic, Tags and Scripts Required 5 Years
• Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts such as exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations, and permutations. Required 5 Years
