As we scale our sales organization, we are seeking a seasoned individual contributor (IC) seller who can break into agency relationships, open new opportunities, and drive revenue growth in the hold-co, independent, and mid-market agency segments.
Position Summary
The Senior Sales Director will serve as a front-line seller responsible for driving new business through strategic prospecting, solution selling, and relationship development across agency and advertiser segments (HoldCos, independents, and mid-market). This role involves owning the entire sales cycle, from outreach and discovery to proposal, negotiation, and closing.
This is a senior individual contributor position, ideal for a challenger-style salesperson who can confidently open doors for an emerging brand, influence senior decision-makers, and build scalable revenue pipelines in a fast-paced adtech environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospect, target, and open new agency and advertiser relationships, including holding companies, independent agencies, and mid-market brands.
- Lead the full sales cycle: opportunity qualification, strategic discovery, solution presentation, proposal development, negotiation, and deal closing.
- Deliver compelling, consultative sales presentations tailored to advertiser and agency objectives.
- Collaborate with internal teams - Yield, Ad Ops, Product, Finance - to develop proposals, pilots, and scalable campaign solutions.
- Craft and deliver strategic positioning and messaging for Infolinks’ value proposition (e.g., attention, contextual, viewability).
- Drive contract negotiations, pricing discussions, and legal terms in collaboration with CRO/Business Development.
- Maintain CRM discipline, ensuring accurate pipeline forecasting and reporting.
- Stay ahead of industry trends in programmatic, contextual, and performance advertising.
- Represent Infolinks Media at industry events, conferences, and agency workshops to build brand visibility and generate leads.
- Achieve and exceed revenue targets through a combination of new business development and account expansion.
Candidate Profile / Required Qualifications
- 7–10 years of digital advertising, adtech, programmatic, or media sales experience.
- Proven track record of opening new logos and closing enterprise/mid-market deals with agencies or advertisers.
- Deep understanding of the buy-side ecosystem, including programmatic, contextual, sponsorship, and managed service offerings.
- Challenger-style, consultative seller who can influence decision-makers and differentiate Infolinks in a competitive landscape.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Comfortable operating with limited brand awareness and building trust through value selling.
- Excellent pipeline management and forecasting discipline.
- Experience working with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field).
