Job Description
• The client is seeking an experienced integrated OpenText/SAP upgrade team to support the upgrade of its OpenText environment used for enterprise document storage, retention, archiving, web publishing, invoice processing, and SAP-integrated content services.
• The project includes OpenText Vendor Invoice Management, Content Server, Archive Server, Document Pipelines, xECM for SAP, OTDS, InfoFusion, Blazon, Enterprise Scan, Enterprise Connect, Kofax Adapter components, SAP/OpenText add-ons, and related technical dependencies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead overall upgrade planning and delivery approach for the OpenText/SAP landscape.
• Perform target version analysis and recommend compatible upgrade levels intended to keep the environment supported for the desired support horizon.
• Coordinate with OpenText VIM, Content Server, Archive Server, xECM, SAP Basis, SAP Development, Security, Help Desk, and Functional teams.
• Review current-state architecture, integration dependencies, product versions, and upgrade readiness.
• Define the upgrade sequencing strategy across sandbox, development, quality, and production environments.
• Provide architecture guidance for in-place versus parallel upgrade options, if evaluated during project planning.
• Lead solution governance meetings, risk reviews, design decisions, and issue escalations.
• Review and approve technical upgrade plans, cutover approach, rollback considerations, and go-live readiness criteria.
• Provide recommendations for remediation of technical, configuration, interface, or compatibility issues.
• Support coordination with City Basis and Development teams during installation, add-on upgrade, and SPAU/SPDD analysis.
• Validate that the proposed solution supports both centralized and decentralized AP processes at go-live.
• Support mock cutover, production cutover, and post-go-live stabilization.

• Experience coordinating multiple workstreams across technical, functional, Basis, development, and business stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of SAP/OpenText SDLC, configuration, testing, documentation, and release management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to document findings, proposals, risks, design decisions, and solution recommendations clearly.
Desirable Skills:
• Experience with OpenText environments integrated with SAP, SharePoint, Accela, or similar enterprise applications.
• Experience with OpenText upgrades targeting multi-year supportability.
• Familiarity with VIM centralized and decentralized AP operating models.
• Familiarity with OpenText Fiori integration, xECM workspace models, and enterprise archiving patterns.
