Job Title: RN ICU
Unit: Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
Location: Elmhurst, NY 11373
Duration: 13 weeks of contract with possible extension.
Shift Time: 3x11.5 Days and Nights Available (34.50 weekly)
Requirements:
- Must have a minimum of 2 years of ICU or Medical/Surgical Step-Down experience.
- BLS
- ACLS
Certifications & Licenses:
- RN NY State License Required.
- BLS and ACLS required.
Responsibilities:
- Perform frequent and detailed patient assessments.
- Perform IV insertion and assist with phlebotomy.
- Provide patient and family education on treatment and recovery.
- Ensure adherence to safety, infection control, and hospital protocols.
- Respond to rapid response calls and cardiac arrest situations.
