Position: Pega Business Analyst/Architect
Location: 25 Market St, Trenton NJ 08625 (Hybrid work)

Description:
The Pega Business Architect will serve as a liaison between business users, stakeholders, and technologists. This individual will collaborate with the Lead System Architect and leadership team to jointly define business and technical strategies.
This role provides the opportunity to leverage a wide range of skill sets while working on software development and systems integration projects for diverse users and stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in requirements gathering, tracking, and analysis, with the ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical professionals. The primary responsibility will involve evaluating user needs and developing and implementing technological solutions to address those needs.
Experience:
- Relevant work experience: 6 years
- Minimum 4 years of business analysis experience
- Minimum 4 years of Use Case Development
- Minimum 4 years as a Pega Business Architect
- Broad experience in organizations that develop and deliver software to customers
- Experience managing software functional requirements throughout the SDLC
- Participation in Agile software development environments
- Strong experience working with users and stakeholders to capture and translate requirements
- Configuration and deployment of enterprise-level software solutions
- Skilled in documenting requirements, test cases, functional design, and leading test execution
Role Responsibilities
- Act as the liaison between business and technology teams, translating requirements across technical and non-technical members.
- Work closely with Business Product Owners, Stakeholders, ATCSU, and Lead Business Analysts to gather user stories and translate them into business requirements.
- Understand the business vision and define corresponding technology impacts/solutions.
- Collaborate with technology teams to design solutions that meet business needs.
- Proactively identify and mitigate project risks.
- Perform multiple roles as needed during the project lifecycle.
- Capture functional software requirements and translate them into user stories.
- Coordinate with Product Managers and stakeholders to facilitate backlog reviews.
- Participate in Agile sprints, sprint planning, and related ceremonies.
- Define solution acceptance criteria and assist in software testing.
- Publish release notes and maintain product documentation.
- Develop and maintain solution training materials.
- Support customer success teams and provide product/process training as needed.
- Create wireframe designs to support functional requirements.
- Integrate best practices into ongoing processes.
- Other duties as assigned.
