Job Title: Lab Technician
Job Location: Plainsboro, NJ, 08536
Duration: 4 months (High Chances of extension)
Payrate: $23-$25 per hour on W2
Shift: 8:00 - 5:00 pm. Flexible start and end time.
Education: BS in Science, or a related field preferred. Minimum of 2 years in lab environment
Top 3 Skills: Attention to detail. Ability to operate independently and take instruction from several stakeholders. Multitasking
Interview Process. In person
No additional physical fit test required.
Ensure fine fragrance products meet perfume action.
Test samples for performance and stability while meeting deadlines and following good laboratory practices
Maintain a clean, organized workbench in line with laboratory best practices
Document results, prepare reports, and present data clearly
Contribute to a team-focused environment by supporting colleagues during periods of high workload
Independently carry out routine testing following set procedures.
Data Integrity & Documentation: Confidently handle all steps of testing, including preparation, execution, and accurate documentation.
Check Results: Review test results for accuracy and consistency before submission.
Report Issues: Identify and report any quality deviations (e.g., OOS) according to protocols.
Conduct first-level tests for out-of-spec results as per procedures.
Escalate Issues: Identify recurring problems and escalate them to the appropriate person or team.
Maintain Equipment: Take care of assigned lab equipment, including calibration and basic maintenance, following GMP and safety standards.
Meet Deadlines: Complete tests and submit results within required timeframes.
Follow Safety Rules: Work in line with all safety, health, and environmental (SHE) guidelines.
Flexibility: Perform other tasks as needed to support lab operations.
