Experience: 6 Months experience as medical assistant, Lab Asst, Medical secretary. Required to work weekend. They will have rotating days off.
Multiple position available.
Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Laboratory Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting scientific research and ensuring quality control within the laboratory environment. This position requires a solid understanding of laboratory practices, FDA regulations, and the ability to utilise laboratory information management systems effectively.
Responsibilities
- Assist in conducting scientific research by preparing samples and performing experiments under the supervision of senior laboratory staff.
- Ensure adherence to quality control protocols and maintain accurate records of all laboratory activities.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring it is calibrated and functioning correctly.
- Utilise laboratory information management systems to track samples, data, and results efficiently.
- Conduct thorough analysis of experimental data, documenting findings and reporting any discrepancies or issues.
- Follow FDA regulations and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to improve laboratory processes and contribute to ongoing research projects.
Qualifications
- Previous laboratory experience is highly desirable, with a strong understanding of scientific research methodologies.
- Familiarity with quality control practices and FDA regulations is preferred.
- Proficient analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets accurately.
- Strong mathematical skills for calculations related to experiments and data analysis.
- Experience with laboratory information management systems is an advantage.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills, ensuring all tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.
