Are you an experienced Monitor Technician looking for your next travel assignment? We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to join a leading healthcare facility in Oklahoma City for a 13-week night shift contract.
What You'll Do:
As a Monitor Technician, you'll play a critical role in patient care by continuously monitoring telemetry systems and identifying cardiac rhythm changes that require immediate attention.
Key Responsibilities:
✔ Monitor patients connected to telemetry systems
✔ Review and maintain accurate rhythm strip documentation
✔ Ensure proper alarm settings are maintained for each patient
✔ Recognize and communicate critical cardiac events to clinical staff
✔ Perform ECGs as needed
✔ Troubleshoot monitoring equipment issues
✔ Maintain monitor room supplies and workflow efficiency
✔ Collaborate closely with nursing and healthcare teams
Qualifications:
✅ Previous travel healthcare experience preferred
✅ Basic understanding of arrhythmia interpretation and ECG monitoring
✅ Strong computer and communication skills
✅ Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment
✅ Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
