Position Requirements:
- Min of 2 years of experience within specialty.
- Required Current registration as a Pharmacy Technician in the State of Georgia.
- MUST have hazardous drug and chemo compounding experience, preferably with experience in oncology facilities.
Job Duties:
- Assists Pharmacist in filling, compounding, and dispensing physician orders.
- Performs various technical duties involved with the handling, packaging, and delivery of pharmaceuticals.
- The Pharmacy Tech II demonstrates proficiency to practice in two (2) or more specific pharmacy function areas (production/distribution, oncology, inventory management, narcotics, nursery, surgery, compounding and home care/outpatient).
- Provides patient care services to neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
