Ready for your next travel assignment? We’re hiring Respiratory Care Practitioners for a 13-week travel contract with an excellent weekly gross package!
- Location: Urbana, IL
- Contract: 13 Weeks
- Schedule: 36 Hours/Week | 3x12s
- Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
- Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- Weekly Gross: $2,600 weekly gross ($37.70/hr on W2 $1243 weekly per diem)

What You'll Do:
As a Respiratory Care Practitioner, you'll provide comprehensive respiratory care across a diverse patient population, including Neonatal, Pediatric, Adolescent, Adult, and Geriatric patients.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Perform routine and critical respiratory care procedures
- Assess patients and evaluate responses to respiratory treatments
- Care for and assess ventilator patients
- Obtain and analyze arterial, venous, and capillary blood gases
- Prepare, test, maintain, and troubleshoot respiratory therapy equipment
- Accurately document patient care, procedures, responses, and charges in the EMR
- Recommend timely interventions and additional respiratory care when needed
- Communicate patient status and treatment information with physicians and the respiratory care team
- Support respiratory equipment processing, cleaning, stocking, and maintenance
- Provide respiratory care support in inpatient units and the Emergency Department
Requirements:
- Associate’s Degree in Respiratory Therapy
- Current Illinois RCP License
- NBRC Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT)
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- Strong understanding of respiratory care practices and clinical procedures
- Ability to work effectively across multiple patient age groups
