Position Details:
As a Travel RN in the Med Surg/Telemetry unit, you'll provide direct patient care to adult and geriatric populations, caring for medically complex patients requiring telemetry monitoring and advanced nursing interventions.
Patient Population Includes:
- Acutely ill Med Surg patients transitioning from ICU
- Cardiac patients requiring telemetry monitoring
- Patients receiving antiarrhythmic medications and heparin infusions
- Patients requiring BiPAP support
Staffing Ratio:
- 1:4–5 patient ratio
Requirements:
✔ Active Illinois RN License (required at submission)
✔ Minimum 1 Year of Med Surg/Cardiac Telemetry Experience
✔ BLS Certification
✔ ACLS Certification
✔ NIHSS Certification
✔ Ability to Float Within Scope as Needed
