Ironclad Integration Developer (Finance & Legal)

Key Responsibilities
- Ironclad Architecture: Design, build, and maintain complex, native Ironclad workflows utilizing conditional logic, loops, and multi-stage approval chains.
- Custom Integration & API Dev: Build custom API integrations by interacting directly with Ironclad s three abstraction layers: Data Layer, Workflow Layer, and Document Layer.
- Ecosystem Middleware Engineering: Leverage enterprise iPaaS platforms (MuleSoft, Workato, Tray.io) to bridge Ironclad with core ERPs and CRMs without writing brittle, hard-coded scripts.
- Bidirectional Data Sync: Configure, optimize, and troubleshoot native Salesforce-Ironclad integrations, managing complex data mapping and bidirectional Record Sync.
- E-Signature Automation: Configure advanced, embedded, or automated signing workflows within the CLM pipeline via DocuSign, Adobe Sign, or Dropbox Sign.
- Error Handling & Monitoring: Implement sophisticated webhook event triggers and error-handling strategies to ensure high reliability of business-critical contract data flows.
- Security & Compliance: Manage user permissions, schema configurations, and secure token-based authentication (OAuth 2.0 clients) adhering to strict financial security standards and legal privacy regulations.
Technical Requirements
- Ironclad Mastery: 3 years of professional experience with Ironclad Workflow Designer and 2 years of Core Administration (managing the Repository, smart alerts, and schemas). Ironclad Certified Administrator (ICA) status is highly preferred.
- API Architecture & Auth: 3 years of expert-level knowledge of Ironclad REST APIs, Webhooks, and secure, token-based authentication (OAuth 2.0, API Keys).
- Salesforce Native Integration: 3 years of deep experience mapping data, triggering workflows from Salesforce, and managing complex object syncing.
- iPaaS / Middleware Proficiency: 3 years of hands-on expertise using platforms like MuleSoft, Tray.io, or Workato to handle data orchestration across enterprise environments.
- Downstream System Sync: 2 years of experience pushing signed contract metadata to procurement, CRM, BI tools, or finance systems (e.g., Salesforce, ZIP, Coupa, or similar).
Finance & Legal Domain Knowledge
- Systems Experience: Prior experience integrating legal platforms with critical downstream financial and operational tools such as NetSuite, Sage Intacct, or specialized procurement suites.
- Process Logic: Deep familiarity with the structured nature of legal contracts, corporate compliance, and the data-handling logic required for seamless financial or procurement handoffs.
Success Metrics (First 12 Months)
- Integration Reliability: Achieve a <1% failure rate for production Salesforce-Ironclad and iPaaS data syncs.
- Efficiency Gains: Reduce manual data entry hours in the Finance/Legal departments by 30% through automated metadata synchronization.
- Technical Debt Reduction: Audit and standardize existing, fragile integration scripts into modular, reusable middleware workflows.
