The cyber security industry is poised to grow by double digits again this year. As their trusted security advisor, assist our customers in preparing for and maintaining the Cyber Security Maturity Model Certification (CMMC).

Job Description

InfoDefense is seeking a seasoned Information Security Officer (ISO) in the Dallas/Fort Worth area to be a trusted advisor and drive customer satisfaction. A successful candidate must have a strong executive presence and be a seasoned cybersecurity though-leader with exceptional communication skills, and the ability to coordinate technical solution implementation. As a hybrid work position, this is a great opportunity for the right candidate to apply their exceptional leadership skills to gain executive-level cybersecurity experience.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary technical liaison between customers and the InfoDefense Service Delivery team
• Collaborate with the Sales Account Manager to ensure customer success
• Establish a trusted advisor relationship with customers
• Provide security consulting and risk assessments
• Translating business requirements into technical requirements
• Develop technical solutions and coordinate delivery
• Oversee cybersecurity program implementation while managing deliverable schedules
• Ensure compliance with security best practices and regulations
• Coordinate and lead scenario-based incident response exercises
• Interpret regulatory and contractual security compliance requirements for customers
• Complete vendor security surveys for customers
• Define requirements for service-related orders with InfoDefense technology partners
• Schedule meetings, create agendas, and document meeting minutes

Qualifications

• 5 years of technical leadership experience
• 3 years of Information Security Officer (ISO) experience
• Fundamental understanding of NIST SP 800-171, CMMC 2.0, or any other regulatory standards
• Strong knowledge of network security, Microsoft 365, and endpoint protection
• Experience with firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption technologies
• Cyber Incident Response Experience
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills
• Ability to explain complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Industry Certifications such as CISSP, Security , Network . CCNA, CEH, CISA, CISM, Fortinet NSE4, Microsoft 365
• Military service is a big plus

Travel

Minimal travel on a short-term basis may be required.

Salary : $75,000 - $110,000
