Job Description
InfoDefense is seeking a seasoned Information Security Officer (ISO) in the Dallas/Fort Worth area to be a trusted advisor and drive customer satisfaction. A successful candidate must have a strong executive presence and be a seasoned cybersecurity though-leader with exceptional communication skills, and the ability to coordinate technical solution implementation. As a hybrid work position, this is a great opportunity for the right candidate to apply their exceptional leadership skills to gain executive-level cybersecurity experience.
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary technical liaison between customers and the InfoDefense Service Delivery team
- Collaborate with the Sales Account Manager to ensure customer success
- Establish a trusted advisor relationship with customers
- Provide security consulting and risk assessments
- Translating business requirements into technical requirements
- Develop technical solutions and coordinate delivery
- Oversee cybersecurity program implementation while managing deliverable schedules
- Ensure compliance with security best practices and regulations
- Coordinate and lead scenario-based incident response exercises
- Interpret regulatory and contractual security compliance requirements for customers
- Complete vendor security surveys for customers
- Define requirements for service-related orders with InfoDefense technology partners
- Schedule meetings, create agendas, and document meeting minutes
Qualifications
- 5 years of technical leadership experience
- 3 years of Information Security Officer (ISO) experience
- Fundamental understanding of NIST SP 800-171, CMMC 2.0, or any other regulatory standards
- Strong knowledge of network security, Microsoft 365, and endpoint protection
- Experience with firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption technologies
- Cyber Incident Response Experience
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills
- Ability to explain complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Industry Certifications such as CISSP, Security , Network . CCNA, CEH, CISA, CISM, Fortinet NSE4, Microsoft 365
- Military service is a big plus
Travel
Minimal travel on a short-term basis may be required.

InfoDefense offers a generous base salary along with performance-based bonuses, a 401k retirement plan, and additional health, dental, vision, life, short and long-term disability benefits. All candidates are required to submit to a background check prior to beginning work.

Salary : $75,000 - $110,000
