As part of the DePuy Synthes TECA End-to-End Planning organization, the Senior Planning Analyst serves as an individual contributor responsible for leading the identification, design, and implementation of standardized, scalable planning processes. This role focuses on simplifying workflows, improving decision quality, and expanding organizational capacity.
About the Role
The ideal candidate brings deep planning expertise alongside hands-on capabilities in analytics, automation, and AI-enabled solutions to convert complex business needs into structured solutions across process, data, reporting, and systems.
Responsibilities
- Process Standardization & Simplification: Define standard work, simplify workflows, and align operating models across planners to increase team capacity.
- Automation & Analytics Deployment: Build dashboards, self-service analytics, and repeatable reporting solutions (Power BI, Alteryx, Fabric) to enable exception-based reporting and reduce manual effort.
- Scalable Launch Planning: Establish clear launch inputs, timelines, ownership models, and cross-functional handoffs to support portfolio growth without disrupting core operations.
- Data & Parameter Governance: Utilize root-cause analysis and structured problem-solving to improve master data, planning parameters, and reporting reliability.
- Continuous Improvement: Apply Lean / Six Sigma principles to challenge the status quo, enhance productivity, and drive end-to-end planning excellence.
- Compliance: Ensure full alignment with Johnson & Johnson’s Credo, Leadership Imperatives, and all applicable regulatory, EHS, and corporate guidelines.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Analytics, Operations, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 6 years of relevant experience in supply chain planning, end-to-end planning, demand/supply planning, or process optimization.
- Proven track record in process standardization, reporting transformation, or continuous improvement with measurable business impact.
Required Skills
- Planning Systems: Experience with enterprise ERP/Planning platforms such as SAP, OMP, or Kinaxis.
- Analytics & Automation: Hands-on experience with Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, Alteryx, or similar digital/AI-enabled workflow tools.
- Excel Proficiency: Advanced capability in Microsoft Excel for building structured models, templates, and repeatable analyses.
- Methodologies: Strong grounding in Lean, Six Sigma, or Process Excellence methodologies (certification preferred).
- Core Concepts: Solid understanding of demand/supply integration, inventory management, scenario analysis, and parameter governance.
