Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced BPI Architect with strong expertise in Ciena Blue Planet solutions to lead the design, architecture, and implementation of network automation and orchestration platforms. The ideal candidate will be responsible for defining scalable, secure, and resilient architectures that bridge business requirements, OSS/BSS systems, and network infrastructure.
This role requires deep knowledge of Blue Planet Inventory (BPI), MDSO, Analytics, SDN/NFV, and telecom network transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Design end-to-end technical architectures using:
- Blue Planet Inventory (BPI)
- Blue Planet MDSO (Multi-Domain Service Orchestration)
- Blue Planet Analytics
- Define logical, physical, and deployment architectures integrating OSS/BSS systems.
- Develop High-Level Designs (HLDs) and Low-Level Designs (LLDs).
- Lead architecture reviews and provide technical governance for Blue Planet implementations.
- Ensure solutions are cloud-native, scalable, highly available, and secure.
- Translate business requirements into solution blueprints and architecture frameworks.
- Guide development teams on architecture standards and implementation best practices.
- Support deployment, migration, and transformation programs.
- Ensure compliance with TM Forum standards and telecom industry best practices.
- Act as the primary technical authority for Blue Planet solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience with Ciena Blue Planet platforms.
- Deep expertise in:
- Blue Planet Inventory (BPI)
- Blue Planet MDSO
- Blue Planet Analytics
- Experience with OSS/BSS integration architectures.
- Strong understanding of:
- SDN (Software Defined Networking)
- NFV (Network Function Virtualization)
- Multi-Domain Orchestration
- Experience designing scalable and highly available telecom architectures.
- Strong knowledge of telecom network automation and service orchestration.
- Experience creating HLDs, LLDs, and solution blueprints.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Blue Planet Inventory (BPI) Certification.
- Experience with TM Forum frameworks and standards.
- Experience supporting telecom transformation and modernization programs.
- Knowledge of cloud-native platforms, Kubernetes, and microservices architectures.
