We are seeking an experienced IT Vendor Manager to support an enterprise-level IT division. The selected candidate will manage vendor relationships, contracts, performance, and compliance to ensure alignment with organizational standards and strategic goals.
This role is critical in driving effective vendor partnerships, ensuring contract adherence, and supporting IT procurement and risk management activities.
Key ResponsibilitiesVendor Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with IT vendors and service providers.
- Serve as the primary escalation point for vendor issues and disputes.
- Conduct regular vendor performance and business review meetings.
Contract & SLA Oversight
- Manage negotiation, execution, and renewal of Statements of Work (SOWs).
- Ensure contracts meet legal, financial, and operational requirements.
- Monitor SLAs, KPIs, service quality, and compliance with contractual terms.
- Collaborate with Procurement and Legal for enforceable contract language.
Financial & Risk Management
- Track vendor spend and ensure alignment with IT budgets and forecasts.
- Identify and manage risks related to cybersecurity, privacy, and service continuity.
- Support audit and compliance processes tied to vendor engagements.
Change & Issue Management
- Maintain logs for vendor issues, escalations, and change requests.
- Coordinate resolution of service disruptions and disputes.
- Document approvals for changes to IT services or infrastructure.
Stakeholder Coordination
- Schedule vendor meetings, demos, and onboarding activities.
- Communicate vendor updates, risks, and contract changes to internal stakeholders.
Required Skills & Experience
- 3 years of experience managing IT vendors (software, hardware, cloud, or consulting).
- Strong experience tracking SLAs, KPIs, and performance metrics.
- Knowledge of IT procurement standards (cybersecurity, data privacy, accessibility).
- Ability to build and maintain a strategic vendor portfolio aligned to IT roadmaps.
- Experience conducting market research and benchmarking pricing/service levels.
- Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of relevant IT or vendor management experience.

Pay: $37.06 - $50.00 per hour
