Position Title:- SAP Finance, Treasury & Banking Specialist (S/4HANA Migration)

Location: Middletown, PA

Our client is seeking an experienced SAP Finance, Treasury, and Banking Specialist to support an enterprise S/4HANA migration as part of the SMART project. This role serves as a key IT SME, working closely with system integrators, internal IT teams, and business stakeholders. The position is primarily remote, with required on-site participation during major project phases (SIT, UAT, PI Cycles, Go-Live, Hypercare).

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as IT SME for Finance, Treasury, and Banking in an S/4HANA migration environment.
• Partner with integrators and business teams to support configuration, development, testing, and functional activities.
• Understand current-state processes and align them with S/4HANA To-Be processes.
• Participate in SIT, UAT, regression testing, and ECC/S/4HANA parallel activities.
• Support data profiling, cleansing, reconciliation, and validation.
• Ensure system changes are fully tested, documented, and deployed.
• Assist with reporting, analytics, project tracking, and documentation.
• Support training, cutover, issue resolution, and post–go-live hypercare.
• Promote best practices for change management and process governance.

Minimum Qualifications

• 6 years SAP ECC 6.0 & S/4HANA experience in Treasury and Banking.
• 5 years configuring Treasury processes (bonds, money markets, derivatives) with FI integration.
• 2 full-cycle implementations in SAP Banking/Treasury.
• Experience with EBS, lockbox processing, and financial period-end activities.
• Strong experience creating functional/technical specs, test scripts, and training materials.
• Knowledge of end-to-end SAP Finance/Treasury/Banking processes.
• Reporting and analytics expertise; SAP Analytics Cloud is a plus.

Desired Skills

• SAP integrations (real-time and batch), external banks, and collection agencies.
• Background job processing for Finance/Treasury.
• Experience with ACH, checks, RTP, and digital payments.
• ServiceNow and Azure DevOps experience.
• S/4HANA brownfield migration and Fiori transition experience.
• Understanding of public-sector financial and treasury regulations.

Education & Certifications

• Bachelor’s in Business, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• SAP TRM certification strongly preferred.
