Mainframe Operator Onsite | Pontiac, MI

We are looking for an experienced Mainframe Operator to support critical IT incidents, monitoring, triage, escalation, and tracking in a 24/7 operational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Function as a Level 1 Incident Manager for critical IT incidents/events.
- Create, triage, escalate, and track technology-related incidents.
- Monitor infrastructure connectivity, assets, and services using graphical monitoring tools.
- Monitor mainframe control consoles and system performance.
- Assist with reviewing and validating Mainframe JCL.
- Collaborate with IT teams, customers, and vendors.
- Perform assigned deliveries and operational tasks.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Work may include holidays, day, afternoon, and midnight shifts.
Required Experience:
- 5 years of experience with Microsoft Teams.
- Hands-on experience with IBM Mainframe.
- Experience with monitoring tools such as:
- What's Up Gold
- Pingdom
- PRTG
- Strong incident management, troubleshooting, communication, and escalation skills.
- Ability to work in a 24/7 onsite operational environment.
Important Requirements:
- 100% onsite in Pontiac, MI No remote/WFH option
- Candidates must be flexible to work different shifts, including holidays and midnight shifts.
