Role Overview:
- We are seeking a highly skilled Solution Architect with expertise in Data Vault modeling and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
- The architect will lead enterprise data architecture initiatives, design scalable data solutions, and drive cloud native modernization programs.
- This role requires strong technical leadership, hands on architecture skills, and the ability to translate business requirements into robust, future ready solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect and implement Data Vault 2.0 models for enterprise data warehouses.
- Lead cloud native deployments on Microsoft Azure, leveraging AKS for container orchestration.
- Define and optimize data integration strategies across multiple source systems.
- Provide architectural recommendations for data pipelines, ETL/ELT frameworks, and distributed systems.
- Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and regulatory standards.
- Mentor engineering teams on best practices in data modeling, metadata management, and observability.
Required Qualifications:
- 10 years of IT experience with strong background in data architecture and solution design.
- 5 years of experience in Data Vault modeling (Data Vault 2.0 preferred).
- 5 years of hands on experience with Microsoft Azure, including AKS, VMs, Key Vault, and App Gateway.
- Strong knowledge of ETL/ELT tools (Informatica, Talend, dbt, or similar).
- Hands on experience with SQL, Python, and data pipeline orchestration.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Snowflake, Databricks, or BigQuery.
- Familiarity with event driven architectures and messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
- Knowledge of Redis, MongoDB, MySQL for data storage and caching.
- Certifications in Microsoft Azure, Kubernetes, or Data Vault.
- Exposure to AI/ML services and intelligent automation frameworks.
