Executive Assistant to CEO

We're hiring an EA to the CEO.

We don't need an assistant who schedules things. We need a second operating system. Someone who catches the balls before they drop, kills the noise before it reaches him, and makes him look ten steps ahead because you actually were.

This is not a coffee-and-calendar job. This is a "you are now load-bearing infrastructure for the company" job.

What you'll actually do

• Own his calendar like it's a battlefield map — protect deep work, kill pointless meetings, and know which fires are real and which can wait.
• Run interference. You're the filter between a CEO with 200 incoming asks and the 12 that actually matter.
• Turn his half-sentences and voice memos into finished actions. He says "handle the DC travel and loop Zach" — you don't ask three follow-up questions, you just handle it.
• Manage inbox triage, follow-ups, and the "did anyone ever respond to this?" black holes.
• Coordinate across a fast, lean, opinionated team — his brothers, his partners, his hires — without creating drama or dropping threads.
• Be the person who remembers the thing he forgot, prepares the doc before he asks for it, and walks into Monday already three moves in.

Who you are

• Fast. You reply quickly, think quickly, move quickly. Slow is the one unforgivable sin here.
• Anticipatory. You see the need before it's spoken. You're already drafting the thing while everyone else is still discussing whether to draft the thing.
• Unflappable. Plans change four times before lunch. That energizes you instead of breaking you.
• Discreet. You'll sit close to sensitive deals, money, and relationships. Trust is the entire job.
• Direct. No hedging, no fluff, no "just circling back." You say what's true and you say it cleanly.
• Resourceful. You'd rather figure it out than ask permission. You treat "I don't know how" as a 20-minute problem, not a wall.

Who you are NOT

• Someone who needs a detailed task list to function.
• Someone who gets flustered when priorities flip.
• Someone who wants a quiet, predictable 9-to-5. (Be honest with yourself here. This isn't that.)
• Someone who confuses being busy with getting things done.
