What are the responsibilities and job description for the Content Producer - Personal Brand & Company position at Influenceable?
Location: Charlotte — Full-time, in-person
Reports to: Founder
Industry: Viral Marketing, Clip Farming, and Organic Content
About the RoleWe're hiring a Content Producer to own the end-to-end content engine for the founder's personal brand and our marketing company. This is a hands-on, high-ownership role for someone who can take an idea from a Slack message to a published video — scripting it, shooting it, editing it, and shipping it.
You'll be in the room (or behind the camera) with the founder daily. You'll work across long-form (YouTube, podcast clips, case studies) and short-form (Reels, TikTok, Shorts, LinkedIn video). If you've ever watched a creator-founder's content and thought "I could've made that better" — this role is for you.
What You'll Own- Content strategy & ideation — Build content calendars, pitch ideas, and identify trends and hooks worth chasing in the marketing space
- Scriptwriting — Write tight, punchy scripts for both long-form videos and short-form hooks. Translate the founder's voice and POV onto the page
- Pre-production — Plan shoots, scout locations, prep gear, build shot lists, and run the schedule
- On-set production — Film with the founder. Direct, frame, light, and capture clean audio. Coach delivery and pull better takes when needed
- Post-production — Direct the editing of long-form and short-form cuts, color, sound mix, motion graphics, captions, thumbnails, and platform-native packaging
- Publishing & iteration — Schedule, publish, and monitor performance. Use data to inform what we make next
- 2–5 years producing content for a creator, founder, agency, or brand — with a portfolio that shows it
- Strong writer. You can take a rough idea and turn it into a script that sounds like the person saying it, not like a corporate memo
- Comfortable on a camera/lighting kit and in an editor (Premiere, DaVinci, CapCut — whatever you're fastest in)
- Deep fluency in short-form: you understand hooks, retention, platform conventions, and why some clips pop and others don't
- High taste. You can articulate why something works
- Direct communicator who can push back, pitch ideas, and tell the founder when a take isn't landing
- Self-starter — you don't need a producer above you to tell you what to shoot
- Bonus: motion graphics, thumbnail design, podcast production, or paid-ads creative experience
- Competitive salary: Base performance bonus tied to content KPIs
- Full creative ownership of a growing personal brand and company channel
- Top-tier gear budget — we'll buy what you need to do your best work
- Direct access to the founder and a front-row seat to how a viral organic marketing company operates
- Health/PTO/other benefits
