Who will I be working with? You will be working alongside the military, government employees, other Government contractors, and with our team of other awesome Inflowees.
What level Clearance do I need? You must possess or be eligible to obtain an active Secret clearance.

Who will I be working with? In support of Inflow's contract with the Government, you will be working alongside Government civilians and other Government contractors and chemists.
What will I be doing? Using your technical expertise in chemistry, you will:
- Support Small Scale Sensitivity Testing (SSST) operations
- Support the Micro Analysis Laboratory in the areas of explosive research, testing, and data analysis
- Keep abreast of the latest research in energetic materials through literature reviews and technical conferences
- Utilize Micro Analysis Laboratory equipment: DSC, TGA, 6200 Isoperibol w/1108 bomb, MP-70, ARSST, Nicolet 6700, Nicolet iS50, DXR, SEM/EDAX, CL/MS, LA 950V2, Powder Jet, Lab Hoods, DI Water, Optical Microscopes, Glassware, Gas Provisions
- Support Micro Analysis Laboratory capabilities: Thermal Analysis, Molecular Spectroscopy, Separation and Spectrometry, Particle Size Analysis, Lab Overview, Lab Materials in Test SOP, Lab Check List Open/Close
- Support quarterly preventative maintenance
- Support current year updates on needs for equipment and supplies
- Support planning for upcoming year needs for equipment and supplies
- Assist with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) policy reviews and other document updates
- Aid in the development of laboratory and test range instrumentation and equipment specifications
- Make technical recommendations of laboratory and test range instrumentation and equipment as to which products best satisfy the technical needs of the Government
- Ensure that user-level preventative maintenance is performed on all instruments and equipment and properly recorded; ensuring that such maintenance does not invalidate data collection and processing, a manufacturer's warranty, or other agreement
- Ensure that all instrumentation and equipment is accounted for, calibrated to the appropriate specifications, serviceable, and available for use to support operations
- Maintain and update list of trained personnel and ensure that only properly trained personnel operate instrumentation and equipment
- Other duties as assigned
What experience, training, and education do I need?
You must meet the minimum requirements:
- 3 years of technical experience in chemistry
- Experience supporting Small Scale Sensitivity Testing (SSST) operations
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited University or College or equivalent experience in a technically related field
- Active Secret clearance or be eligible to obtain Secret clearance
