Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Chef/Cook to join our team. You will be responsible for preparing delicious, high-quality meals in a private Ranch setting, that will delight our guests and meet food safety standards. Your culinary expertise will help create memorable dining experiences for groups of 3 to 30 Guests.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes ensuring consistency and quality in every plate.
- Assist in menu planning by suggesting new dishes that align with management and customer preferences.
- Operate kitchen and equipment safely and efficiently, including grills, stoves, ovens, knives, and food preparation stations.
- Maintain strict adherence to food safety sanitizing procedures and proper food handling practices to ensure a hygienic environment.
- Support dietary Guest requests by preparing specialized meals that meet their dietary restrictions and nutritional guidelines
- Inventory management & ordering
Requirements
- Proven experience in food industry settings such as Restaurants, Country Club, Private Venues and/ or Catering services.
- Culinary skills with expertise in food preparation of Mexican and Soutwest dishes, including grilling and general cooking methods.
- Knife skills and familiarity with operating various kitchen equipment safely.
- Experience with low to medium Guests volume production environments and food safety management protocols.
- Knowledge of dietary menu practices to accommodate Guest requests and dietary needs.
- Ability to work efficiently while maintaining attention to detail and recipe consistency.
