What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Manager position at Inflatables and Rides?
Warehouse Manager
Sonoma County / North Bay area Seasonal · full-time in peak season, reduced in winter $25–$30/hour (depending on experience), plus paid route work on top
We're a growing party and event rental company in Sonoma County and the Marin County, with inflatables and rides. We're expanding our warehouse operation and want a hands-on Warehouse Manager who runs the floor, not one who just clocks in. If you take pride in a tight operation and you'd rather earn more by doing more, this is a good fit.
What you'll own
- Open the warehouse and launch the day's routes during peak season (early start — around 7 AM)
- Lead warehouse operations and serve as event head manager
- Keep every unit ready: inspections, repairs, deep cleans, and safe, correct loadouts
- Direct the ground crew and keep drivers moving on schedule
- Inventory authority
- Execute weekly routines to keep the warehouse and inventory properly organized and stocked
- Maintain our specialty ride and inflatable equipment to manufacturer spec
- Ability to drive routes
How the pay works
- A base of $25–$30/hour, depending on experience
- Paid route work on top: when you want extra income, run delivery routes and get paid for them on top of your base
- A guaranteed weekly minimum, so you're never left short in a slow week. We'll walk you through the full numbers in the interview.
Our season
We're busiest March through Thanksgiving, and May through July is the peak. In those months this is a full-time job: long days, weekends, early starts, and real overtime. December through February slows down. Hours drop, and the work shifts to repairs, deep cleans, and maintenance at a lighter pace. Your guaranteed weekly minimum holds year-round, so you always clear a baseline, and in season you'll earn well beyond it. We're telling you this upfront so you know exactly what you're signing up for.
Who fits
- Hands-on and mechanically handy. You can fix a blower, patch a unit, service equipment
- Event, logistics and warehouse experience
- Reliable and early. The day doesn't start without you
- Physically up for it. You can lift 75 lbs solo
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record. You'll operate company vehicles
- Comfortable directing a small crew and keeping a day on schedule
We care more about instincts, reliability, and hustle than your résumé. Warehouse, logistics, trades, moving, landscaping, event work.
