What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shipping Lead position at Infinium Staffing?
Requirements:
- Leadership experience in a Shipping role; will oversee 1-2 employees.
- Palletizing shipments, filling out the packing slips, obtaining weights and dimensions.
- Utilizing the online freight portal by entering weights and dimensions to obtain three quotes to provide to the customer allowing the customer to decide which freight company to use.
- Or; providing weights and dimensions to the customer allowing them to set up a truck.
- Loading trucks; signing off on paperwork.
- High accuracy and attention to detail required.
- Previous forklift experience is required.
- Warehouse/Material Handler skills; additional tasks may be required such as putting material away/stocking, assisting in ensuring team is on task, etcetera.
- Ability to work first shift 6am until 2:30pm, Monday thru Friday with flexibility for occasional overtime; extended days and/or an occasional Saturday.
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
- Driver of company vehicle; must have a current driver license and proof of a clean driving record.
- Previous manufacturing experience a plus
- $22.00 - $23.00 per hour depending on experience
- Includes Paid Holidays
