Program Implementation Engineer (Full Stack)

InfinityRx
Westbury, NY Full Time
POSTED ON 10/8/2026
AVAILABLE BEFORE 4/4/2027
About the Role

InfinityRx is seeking a versatile Program Implementation Engineer to join our technical operations team. In this pivotal role, you will bridge the gap between software engineering, client onboarding, and system configuration to bring new healthcare programs to life on our proprietary platform, the InfinityRx Claims Processor™ (ICP).

As a Full Stack Implementation Engineer, you will take direct responsibility for coding, configuring, testing, and deploying custom program logic and client-facing interfaces. You will work closely with account managers, client stakeholders, and core engineering teams to turn complex client business rules into high-performing, scalable software implementations.

Key Responsibilities
  • End-to-End Program Onboarding: Lead the technical configuration and development for new client onboardings, ensuring seamless integration of copay assistance, patient access, and pharmaceutical claim processing rules.
  • Full Stack Development: Build, maintain, and extend client-facing web portals, custom APIs, administrative tools, and internal integration workflows using modern front-end and back-end frameworks.
  • Claims Logic & Rule Configuration: Implement complex adjudication rules, accumulator logic, and eligibility check workflows within the core claims processor engine.
  • Integration & API Management: Design, build, and test RESTful/SOAP APIs and data exchange pipelines to connect external client systems, PBMs, pharmacies, and third-party vendors with the InfinityRx platform.
  • System Testing & Validation: Conduct rigorous end-to-end unit, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT) for all program configurations to ensure 100% accuracy in claim adjudication and financial transactions.
  • Troubleshooting & Operational Support: Serve as the tier-3 escalation point for technical implementation issues, production bugs, and data mapping edge cases during and post-launch.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner directly with Product Managers, Solution Architects, and Client Success teams to translate complex healthcare client requirements into technical specifications.
Required Qualifications
  • Experience: 3 years of professional full stack software engineering experience, preferably in client-facing, implementation, or integration-heavy roles.
  • Front-End Proficiency: Strong skills in modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js, Angular) and HTML5/CSS3 to build responsive, accessible client interfaces.
  • Back-End Expertise: Solid background in server-side development using Node.js, Python, C#/.NET, or Java, with experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs and microservices.
  • Database & SQL Mastery: Proficient in relational databases (PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MySQL) with strong ability to write complex queries, stored procedures, and perform data transformations.
  • System Integration: Proven experience with webhooks, API design, JSON/XML parsing, and ETL integration patterns.
  • Agile & CI/CD: Familiarity with Git, automated deployment pipelines (CI/CD), and Agile/Scrum delivery frameworks.
Preferred Qualifications (Big Plus)
  • Domain Expertise: Experience in pharmaceutical claims processing, Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM), or medical claims adjudication.
  • Healthcare Data Standards: Familiarity with industry standards such as NCPDP Telecommunication Standards, X12 EDI (837/835/270/271), or HL7/FHIR formats.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Operational understanding of HIPAA rules, HITECH, and handling Protected Health Information (PHI).
  • Cloud Infrastructure: Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), serverless functions, and containerized deployments (Docker/Kubernetes).
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
Compensation & Work Environment
  • Salary Range: $90,000 – $125,000 (commensurate with experience).
  • Work Location: Hybrid.
  • Equipment: High-performance company-provided laptop.
