Role Description This full-time, on-site Roofer or Roofer Helper role is based in Fort Lauderdale, FL. The role involves assisting with the installation, repair, and maintenance of various roof systems, including preparing work areas, handling materials, and supporting more experienced roofers. Day-to-day tasks include measuring and cutting materials, installing insulation and waterproofing layers, fastening roofing components, and ensuring work is completed safely and efficiently at height. The Roofer or Roofer Helper will also help maintain tools and equipment, clean job sites, follow safety protocols, and collaborate with the crew to meet project timelines and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Ability to work with roofs and related structures, including basic knowledge of different roofing materials and systems.
- Skills in carpentry and material handling to measure, cut, and install roofing components accurately.
- Experience or comfort with working at height, including proper use of ladders, scaffolding, and fall protection equipment.
