Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Construction Estimator and Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in estimating construction projects and managing them from inception to completion, with a strong proficiency in using Xactimate software for cost estimation and project management.
Key Responsibilities:
Estimating:
- Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for construction projects, utilizing Xactimate software to analyze labor, materials, and overhead costs.
- Review and analyze project plans, specifications, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive estimates.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for estimates.
- Conduct site visits to assess project scope and gather data for accurate pricing.
Project Management:
- Manage construction projects from beginning to end, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely completion of milestones.
- Coordinate and communicate with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients throughout the project lifecycle.
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure successful project delivery.
Reporting and Documentation:
- Prepare and present detailed reports on project status, budgets, and forecasts to upper management and stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate documentation for all phases of the project, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and quality standards.
Qualifications:
Experience & Skills:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in construction estimating and project management.
- Proven experience with Xactimate software for estimating and project management.
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills for cost estimation and budgeting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients.
- Proficient in project management tools and software.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
Pay: From $25.00 per hour
