Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Nail Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of nail care and design, providing exceptional services to our clients while ensuring a clean and welcoming environment. As a Nail Technician, you will be responsible for performing various nail treatments, maintaining hygiene standards, and delivering excellent customer service.
Duties
- Perform manicures, pedicures, and nail enhancements with precision and creativity.
- Sanitate tools and workstations to maintain a safe and hygienic environment.
- Consult with clients to understand their preferences and recommend suitable nail services.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in nail art and techniques to provide innovative services.
- Promote additional services such as eyelash extensions, body waxing, or esthetic laser treatments when appropriate.
- Assist in retail sales by recommending products that enhance client experiences.
- Upsell services to maximize client satisfaction and salon revenue.
- Maintain accurate records of client services and preferences for future visits.
Skills
- Proficiency in various nail techniques including acrylics, gels, and nail art design.
- Knowledge of sanitation practices to ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Familiarity with retail math to assist in product sales and inventory management.
- Experience or certification in body waxing, eyelash extensions, or esthetic laser treatments is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Ability to upsell services effectively while maintaining a positive client experience.
- Understanding of color theory as it relates to nail polish selection and application.
- Additional skills in hair extensions or barbering are beneficial but not required.
