Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Copywriter to support ongoing content needs across multiple client accounts. This contract role is focused on producing high-quality, long-form blog content and supporting digital copy deliverables based on established strategies, content briefs, and SEO direction.
This is a remote, project-based role with variable workload depending on business needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce long-form blog content as the primary deliverable, executing on provided topics, keywords, and SEO direction
- Write clear, compelling, and on-brand copy across a variety of client accounts and industries, including healthcare, telecom, home services, and B2B
- Develop supporting digital marketing materials such as website copy, email campaigns, and social content as outlined in project scope
- Execute on defined content briefs and project requirements, ensuring alignment with client goals and messaging frameworks
- Adapt to multiple brand voices, messaging frameworks, and style guidelines
- Incorporate feedback and revisions efficiently to meet project expectations
- Deliver high-quality work within established timelines in a deadline-driven environment
- Ensure all content is accurate, grammatically sound, and aligned with brand standards
- Apply provided SEO inputs (keywords, structure, and guidance) to content deliverables
- Manage multiple assignments simultaneously while maintaining strong attention to detail and consistent quality
- Communicate proactively regarding timelines, questions, and deliverables
- Utilize provided systems and tools to track, manage, and deliver work as needed
Requirements
- Proven experience as a copywriter in a marketing agency, freelance, or similar environment, with a portfolio reflecting senior-level work
- Strong portfolio including long-form blog writing (1,000 words), ideally across multiple industries or audience types
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
- Demonstrated ability to write across diverse tones, industries, and audiences while maintaining clarity and quality
- Ability to execute against structured direction (SEO inputs, messaging frameworks, and content outlines) with a high level of independence
- Strong time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Clear, professional communication skills
- Self-directed with the ability to work independently while collaborating as needed
