Currently we perform 45,000 abstracts a month. Our leadership team has an average of 20 year experience and our staff have an average of 7 years of experience.
We are looking for Title Searcher/Instrument Recording Specialist for our Chicago, IL Office.
Job Description
As a Title searcher you will order, review, and maintain titles searches from our vendor companies to determine a property title’s legal condition. You will copy or summarize recorded documents affecting title to property, such as mortgages, deeds and agreements into a spreadsheet for our clients. You will also be responsible for obtaining tax bills/certificates from the county treasurers office. As the lead person you must make decisions on production matters as production manager designates. You will also be responsible for sending instruments to be recorded to all counties in the United States. Must be familiar with e-recordings at each county level.
Qualifications
Minimum 5 yrs of abstracting experience is must with a leading title company. Also should have experience working with title plant.
