Role Description The Aesthetic Nurse Injector is a full-time, on-site role based in New York, NY. This role is responsible for performing aesthetic injections such as neuromodulators (e.g., Botox) and dermal fillers, as well as other procedures including PRP treatments, Sculptra, and laser services under physician guidance. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting patient consultations, obtaining medical histories and informed consent, developing and documenting individualized treatment plans, and providing pre- and post-procedure education. The Aesthetic Nurse Injector will monitor patient safety, identify and manage common side effects, and escalate concerns to supervising clinicians as needed. The role also involves maintaining treatment rooms, managing supplies, adhering to infection control and regulatory standards, and contributing to a welcoming patient experience and strong referral-based practice.
Qualifications
- Active RN, NP, or PA license in New York State in good standing, with completion of accredited nursing or advanced practice program.
- Hands-on experience with aesthetic injections (neuromodulators and dermal fillers), and familiarity with PRP, PDO threads, and laser or energy-based devices preferred.
- Strong assessment and clinical judgment skills, with the ability to obtain detailed patient histories, evaluate candidacy for procedures, and recognize complications.
- Demonstrated commitment to patient safety, sterile technique, infection control, and compliance with state, federal, and clinic protocols.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a professional, inclusive, and compassionate approach to a diverse patient population.
- Ability to provide clear education on treatment options, realistic outcomes, and post-care instructions, both verbally and in writing.
- Comfort working in a high-end, service-oriented setting, with strong attention to detail, aesthetics, and natural-looking results.
