We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Warehouse Assistant to join our fast-growing, innovative team. Duties
- Assist with warehouse distribution tasks, including loading and unloading shipments using forklifts, and other heavy equipment.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently while adhering to safety protocols outlined by OSHA standards.
- Manage shipping and receiving activities, verifying inbound and outbound shipments for accuracy.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse space to promote safety and efficiency.
Experience
- Previous experience working in a warehouse environment is highly preferred.
- Proven skills in warehouse distribution and materials handling are essential.
- Experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks is required; certification is a plus.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to warehouse operations and heavy equipment use.
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues is advantageous.
- Prior experience in shipping & receiving processes or construction-related warehousing roles will be beneficial for success in this position.
