Duties
- Assemble solar energy products using hand tools, power tools, and mechanical knowledge on an assembly line within a manufacturing facility
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely to transport materials and finished products throughout the facility
- Follow detailed assembly instructions and quality standards to ensure each product meets specifications
- Conduct routine inspections of components and assembled units to identify defects or issues early in the process
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace by adhering to safety protocols and best practices in a manufacturing environment
- Assist with inventory management by receiving, stocking, and documenting parts and materials accurately
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by providing feedback on assembly processes and workflow efficiencies
Experience
- Prior factory or manufacturing facility experience is highly preferred, especially within an assembly line setting
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and mechanical assembly is essential for success in this role
- Warehouse experience involving forklift operation is advantageous; certification is a plus but not required
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret technical drawings or instructions
- Familiarity with manufacturing safety standards and protocols to ensure a safe working environment
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting
