Job Overview
We’re seeking a 1st and 2nd Shift Line Operator to run and maintain electroplating equipment in a zinc plating facility. This role ensures safe, efficient, and high-quality production while meeting schedules and compliance standards.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor plating equipment (tanks, conveyors, racks).
- Adjust machine settings (voltage, chemicals) per process requirements.
- Inspect materials before and after plating for quality.
- Record production data and plating parameters.
- Mix and maintain chemical solutions per SOPs.
- Handle hazardous materials safely and per regulations.
- Perform routine equipment maintenance and minor repairs.
- Follow safety protocols and wear required PPE.
- Collaborate with team to meet production goals.
- Maintain accurate documentation and assist in audits.
Qualifications
- Experience with zinc electroplating or similar processes.
- Basic understanding of chemistry and plating principles.
- Ability to read SOPs, technical documents, and blueprints.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Physically able to lift, stand, and perform manual tasks.
