Coordinates the daily activities of the patient care unit and keeps the Nurse Manager or Director up-to-date on all activities. Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates the nursing care of patients. Assists in establishing and monitoring patient care standards, and in the absence of the Nurse Manager assumes that role.Key Responsibilities
