Qualifications:
· Must have COVID-19 Vaccination - 2 shots
As a Speech Language Pathologist, SLP, you will provide exceptional care to help patients gain oral-motor control and cognition to in order to perform oral and communicative functions, such as sound production, vocalizing, chewing, swallowing, etc., effectively.
Speech Language Pathologist, SLP tasks will include, but not limited to:
· Review authorized orders for therapy services, and perform and document initial evaluation to determine patients’ oral-motor deficits, and identify the therapeutic needs and goals specific to the patients to maintain, develop, and/or restore oral-motor function.
· Speech Language Pathologist, SLP perform clinical assessments to define functional and communicative impairment and developmental and/or restorative potential. Confer with patient, family, medical treatment team to determine maintenance, developmental, and restorative therapeutic goals.
· Track and document treatments, responses, and progress. Reevaluate, redefine therapeutic goals, and develop new treatment plans as necessary.
· Recommend Augmentative Communication Devices for non-verbal patients if necessary.
· Provide training for patients, caregivers, families, as well as other health team personnel on using Augmentative Communication Devices, oral-motor exercises, communication techniques, etc.

Pay: $43.00 - $53.00 per hour
