Develop Quality Control concepts, Quality Control procedural documents which in turn is used to develop evaluation, inspection, and test plans. Prepare for and conduct the evaluation of finished products and raw materials and data collection of test results. Perform analysis of test results with emphasis on in-depth Quality Control report creation and formulating conclusions based on product technical requirements and good product compliance. Collaborate with other departments on test plan development, product readiness reviews, Quality Control inspection and test process, procedures, and documentation creation.What You'll DoResponsible for all phases of test management including test planning, test documentation, test execution, defect management, and test reporting.Perform all phases of application test execution including system testing, functional testing, regression testing, integration testing, external partner testing, and user acceptance testing.Participate in product (Prototype, First Article, Production) readiness reviews, participate in test results reviews, and conduct review of test programs and test methods.Utilize knowledge of precedents in test engineering and apply understanding of principles of related engineering and software/firmware technology to ensure test validity and integrity.Interface with multiple stakeholders and teams including development, business analysts, change management, configuration management, compliance management, QA, production, etc.Duties also include performing product/system and component-level test planning and implementation for mobile and fixed devices using state-of-the-art technology.Develop and maintain Quality Control documentation including plans, procedures, reports, etc.Evaluates performance results and recommends changes affecting product performance.Document and keep department management informed of any and all deviations from customer/product requirements.Demonstrate experience and/or familiarity with/in the following:Conducting functional and performance testing of fixed and mobile devices.Developing operational test and inspection procedures, maintenance of complex hardware, software and data processing systems.Experience with system level configuration and testing management process.Familiar with tools required for reporting discrepancies, non-conformity, and compatibility issues.Qualifications1-2 years of experience in the field or in a related areaExperience in surface mount soldering and programming with Objective-C, Swift or JavaKnowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within the fieldAssociates degree or higherAdditional Details Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday (8:00am–5:00pm)Location: Irvine, CA – minutes from John Wayne AirportLocal candidates only.
