Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and highly qualified Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our behavioral health team. Services are provided in home, clinic and the community as appropriate. in accordance with the BACB ethical standards and South Carolina regulations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in applied behavior analysis, with experience working with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. As a BCBA, you will lead behavioral intervention programs, conduct assessments, and develop individualized treatment plans to support clients’ growth and independence. Your expertise will be instrumental in delivering patient-centered care within a multidisciplinary setting, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and maintaining accurate medical documentation.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive behavioral assessments and diagnostic evaluations to identify client needs and develop tailored intervention strategies.
- Design, implement, and supervise evidence-based behavioral therapy programs utilizing applied behavior analysis techniques.
- Collect and analyze data meticulously to monitor progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
- Collaborate closely with families, caregivers, educators, and healthcare professionals to ensure consistency across environments.
- Provide training and supervision to behavior technicians and staff to maintain high-quality service delivery.
- Maintain detailed medical records and documentation in accordance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies.
- Participate in intake procedures, patient care planning, and ongoing case management to support client development goals.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legal, ethical, and safety standards within behavioral health practices.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
- Proven experience working with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder.
- Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavioral therapy techniques, and data collection methods.
- Familiarity with medical terminology, patient assessment processes, and medical documentation standards.
- Experience working within special education settings or behavioral health environments is preferred.
- Ability to conduct diagnostic evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results.
