Position Description

The Senior Outside Sales Representative is a key contributor to the growth and success of the company’s RF component business. This remote role is responsible for developing and expanding customer relationships, driving strategic sales initiatives, and representing a diverse portfolio of active and passive RF components across multiple industries. The position involves close collaboration with regional manufacturer’s representatives, distribution partners, and internal teams to identify and secure new business opportunities.

Compensation

Base compensation for this position is determined based on experience, skills, and internal equity. This role offers an On Target Earnings (OTE) range between $200,000 and $260,000, uncapped, which includes base pay plus variable incentives tied to performance.

General Duties And Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage relationships with new and existing customers to grow overall business.
  • Collaborate with regional manufacturer’s reps and distribution partners to expand market reach.
  • Represent multiple RF active and passive component brand portfolios with deep product knowledge.
  • Identify and develop strategic opportunities at key accounts to drive long-term growth.
  • Work directly with customer engineering and sourcing teams to secure print positions on upcoming production projects.
  • Support customer-specific prototyping and near-term project needs with RF component solutions.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of customer applications and technical requirements.
  • Provide timely feedback to internal product and marketing teams regarding market trends and customer needs.
  • Travel as needed to customer sites, trade shows, and partner meetings (primarily domestic, with occasional international exposure).

Education And Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field is required.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in technical sales, preferably in RF components or related technologies.
  • Proven ability to manage complex sales cycles and build long-term customer relationships.
  • Strong understanding of RF technologies, including both active and passive components.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
  • Ability to travel domestically and occasionally internationally.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with manufacturer’s reps and distribution networks.
  • Familiarity with customer design cycles and engineering engagement processes.
  • Strategic mindset with a passion for solving customer challenges through technology.

Physical Job Requirements:

  • This position is performed primarily in an office setting with a controlled, quiet environment.
  • The role requires the ability to communicate effectively through various means, including video conferencing, telephone, and written communication.
  • Occasional travel may be required based on project or business needs.

Reports To: Director of Sales / Regional Sales Manager

Environment: This role allows for a flexible work environment, either from your home or an office setting, during standard or extended business hours as needed.

Salary : $130,000 - $160,000
