Position Description
The Production Associate is responsible for the light assembly of cable, wired and/or wireless, and other electronic assemblies for customer orders or inventory within an assigned production cell. This is a hands-on manufacturing role in a clean, controlled environment, not a general warehouse or order fulfillment position. The work involves assembling small components at a workstation using basic tools and following detailed instructions.
This is an hourly position based on a 40-hour workweek. In some locations, overtime is frequently required and is communicated as far in advance as possible.

General Duties And Responsibilities
- Perform light mechanical and electronic assembly per written or verbal instructions, blueprints, or internal procedures
- Work at a dedicated production station to build, inspect, and test product
- Accurately track daily tasks using a labor tracking system
- Utilize test and measurement equipment such as network analyzers, calipers, multi-meters, pin gauges, and micrometers
- Follow quality processes to ensure a high-quality product that meets performance specifications
- Identify and escalate problems; notify the help chain when assistance is required
- Recommend improvements for efficiency, quality, or processes
- Maintain clean and organized workspaces in line with safety and quality standards
- Cross-train in warehouse associate duties to support operational flexibility
- Fill in for warehouse associates during periods of low production volume or as business needs indicate
- Other duties as assigned
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
- Basic computer and math skills
- Manual dexterity and the ability to work with small components using hand tools
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks with attention to detail
- Able to read, speak, and write in English; additional languages are a plus
- Ability to pass soldering and cable assembly certifications after training
- Prior experience in light assembly, production line work, or manufacturing environments
- Detail-oriented with the ability to detect discrepancies in parts or documentation
- Excellent time management, multi-tasking, and teamwork skills
- Strong attendance and reliability
