Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and serving of meals and snacks according to established menus and dietary guidelines
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including food storage areas and kitchen equipment
- Collaborate with dietitians to understand patient dietary needs and preferences
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food handling and sanitation standards
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members regarding dietary options and restrictions
- Participate in training sessions and staff meetings to enhance knowledge and skills related to dietary services
Required and Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a dietary or food service role, preferably in a healthcare setting
- Understanding of basic nutrition principles and dietary restrictions
- Certification in food safety and sanitation
Salary : $18 - $20
