We are seeking a compassionate and energetic Activity Aide to join our team in a skilled nursing facility. The Activity Aide will assist in planning, organizing, and implementing engaging recreational and therapeutic activities to enhance the physical, emotional, and social well-being of our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning and leading daily recreational activities for residents
- Encourage resident participation and provide one-on-one engagement as needed
- Support group activities such as games, arts and crafts, music, and social events
- Help transport residents to and from activities safely
- Maintain activity supplies and ensure proper setup and cleanup
- Document resident attendance and participation in activities
- Build positive relationships with residents, families, and staff
- Follow all facility policies, safety guidelines, and infection control procedures
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience in activities, recreation, or healthcare preferred
- Friendly, patient, and compassionate demeanor
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Must be reliable and able to adapt to residents’ needs
Salary : $19
