We are seeking a compassionate and energetic Activity Aide to join our team in a skilled nursing facility. The Activity Aide will assist in planning, organizing, and implementing engaging recreational and therapeutic activities to enhance the physical, emotional, and social well-being of our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in planning and leading daily recreational activities for residents
• Encourage resident participation and provide one-on-one engagement as needed
• Support group activities such as games, arts and crafts, music, and social events
• Help transport residents to and from activities safely
• Maintain activity supplies and ensure proper setup and cleanup
• Document resident attendance and participation in activities
• Build positive relationships with residents, families, and staff
• Follow all facility policies, safety guidelines, and infection control procedures
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous experience in activities, recreation, or healthcare preferred
• Friendly, patient, and compassionate demeanor
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Must be reliable and able to adapt to residents’ needs
