ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each of the essential duties and responsibilities listed in a satisfactory manner:
- Maintains and develops positive relationships with a customer's key personnel involved in or directly relevant
- Develops an understanding of customers' needs and take actions to ensure that such needs are met.
- Reviews logistics performance with customers against targets, benchmarks and service agreements.
- Develops and implements technical project management tools such as plans, schedules, and responsibility and compliance matrices.
- Directs team activities, establishing task priorities, scheduling and tracking work assignments, providing guidance, and ensuring the availability of resources.
- Assists in preparing / briefing mission requirements and logistics operations activities to the Support Organization leadership and government personnel as required.
- Assists in projecting manpower utilization based upon workload and makes recommendations to project management staff concerning personnel actions.
QUALIFICATIONS:

- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
- Knowledge of management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.
- Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times.
- Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
- Communicating effectively in writing as appropriate for the needs of the audience.
- The ability to apply general rules to specific problems to produce answers that make sense.
- The ability to combine pieces of information to form general rules or conclusions (includes finding a relationship among seemingly unrelated events).

- Must able to obtain and maintain a TOP SECRET security clearance.
