Minimum of $114,240.00 Salary per year/ Maximum of $157,080.00 Salary per year
In addition, all employees will be eligible to participate in an incentive plan.
Your Role
Key responsibilities in your new role
- Collaborate with globally located project managers and design engineers to understand project requirements, align on design rules, and finalize chip floor plans
- Work with package engineers to determine pad locations and pad sizes
- Estimate the schedule for the layout delivery and identify areas of complexity that need early investigation
- Perform the physical design of advanced Silicon and GaN power devices (including mono reticles, pizza masks and PCM)
- Perform design rule checks, electrical rule checks, layout versus schematic checks and resolve errors
- Conduct design review sessions with project teams prior to tape out
- Fulfill tape out procedures and release data to the mask vendor
- Train others in standard layout procedures for power devices
Qualifications And Skills To Help You Succeed
- Strong power device layout skills with a good understanding of layout design principles and best practices
- Proficiency in industry-standard design software (Cadence Virtuoso, DRC, LVS)
- Experience with pcell programming
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
- Preferred to have experience with circuit design
- Excellent communication skills (both oral and written) are required
- Able to work independently on challenging problems and meet tape out deadlines
